Service Owner Infrastructure - Polypeptide

We are looking for a Service Owner Infrastructure and Cloud for Polypeptide.

The company has production facilities in Sweden, USA, Belgium, France and India with its head office located in Zug, Switzerland.

They are seeking to strengthen their Global IS/IT capabilities with someone for the position of Service Owner in the Global Infrastructure and Cloud team. Polypeptide works with a partner to deliver Infrastructure services to its Global organization and has a core team to manage this relationship and to provide support to the rest of Global IS/IT in the design, development, implementation and support of infrastructure services. This is a role where you will contribute with your expertise in Server and Database support and Troubleshooting, Network infrastructure design and configuration and change and release management in a highly regulated environment where documentation is a critical part of the role.

Global IS/IT is a global organization dedicated to supporting business with everything from strategy execution to operational delivery. As Service Owner, you will be an essential part in a team, building the foundation for Polypeptides services.

You are a technically skilled administrator and coordinator with advisory skills and an eye for business value creation. You enjoy interacting with the Business focusing on reliability/predictability, efficiency and productivity.

The position is based in Malmö, but your responsibility will be global. You report to the Manager for IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support change and configuration of Network configuration with Vendor. From Fiber and local network hardware to WAN and Virtual networks.
• Assist in monitoring network performance and security, implementing optimizations and enhancements as needed.
• Provide support in deploying, managing, and maintaining cloud environments (Azure), including virtual machines, storage, and network resources.
• Assist in the administration and optimization of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Support Application owners in design, configuration and troubleshooting server and network related services.
• Support the administration of core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other essential server roles.
• Produce and maintain documentation in line with GxP requirements for pharmaceutical companies.
• Ensure global IS/IT operations on a day-to-day basis, taking technical responsibility for the administration, maintenance, and support of the services. Participate in projects related to your service to ensure delivery and expectations.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCE THAT ARE MERITORIOUS

• 5+ years of experience of working within IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with network, cloud, database, and server management.
• Proficient in Microsoft server support both on Prem and Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in working with outsourced Infrastructure environment from either side (customer/supplier).
• Previous experience working within an international matrix organization is an advantage.
• Previous experience working within life science/pharma is a merit.
• Fluent verbal and writing skills in English.
