Software Developer Intern for TUI Airline Technology

Are you pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Sweden? Are you passionate about travelling and eager to explore how innovative technologies can revolutionize the user experience, while seeking an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting? 

Now you have an amazing opportunity to join our TUI Group Airline Technology community as an intern working on one of our development projects. Our Team, the Engineering & Maintenance team, is an international team with colleagues from Sweden, Germany, Spain and the UK. You will be working mainly with our Swedish and Spanish colleagues who are very experienced Software Engineers, and they will be guiding you through your time with us.

We will provide you with knowledge sharing and the tools you need to confidently work on the project. We are working with C# (.net), Javascript (vue), SLQ (Postgres), AWS, and Code repository (GIT), as a GUI we are using Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.

After a successful onboarding and introduction to our department and TUI we have made a Learning & Development Plan for you. Ensuring your will get the most out of your internship period with us.

Your task could include, but will not be limited to:

• Deliver and produce functional IT solutions to our business together with your team. 

• Maintain and improve solutions already delivered. 

• Be part in the solution-architecture of the systems/service your team build.
• Engage with product owners to understand their requirements and to help solve their challenges. 
• Demonstrate to Product owners and users what we deliver and keep them informed about progress, and help them understand the different complexity of issues. 
• Be part of the daily and weekly meetings with the team.

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Sweden.
• Language skills Swedish and English, a plus (not a need) if you also knows Spanish.
• You are able to start your internship from the autumn period 2025 accordingly to your internship period at your university.
• We seek Interns who are eager to learn. 
•  Knowledge in C# and/or Vue.
