Solution Architect, Enterprise

We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our Digital Enterprise unit! This role involves contributing to our journey to become a modern, harmonized, and effective digital business. You will work with our applications for all kinds of Enterprise customers, both small and large, in the Nordics as well as Poland. In this role, you willl: 

• Have responsibility for the design of solution architecture in the Enterprise area, in addition to contributing to the overall Fortum architecture.
• Own part of the IT landscape from an architecture perspective.
• Ensure the overall validity of the architecture planning activities, and drive quality and accuracy of the architecture descriptions.
• Ensure proper level of support by technical architects, and consult and involve the technical architect in issues.
• Ensure that development activity architecture descriptions are incorporated into the architecture repository and other agreed solution architecture documentation.
• Ensure that the solution is aligned with the enterprise architecture principles and guidelines, and highlight exceptions or alignment risks.
• Collaborate with product development specialists, project managers, and business stakeholders.

To excel in this role, you are expected to be…

• Someone who thrives on finding innovative ways to align technology, business, and implementation. Your can-do attitude makes you a natural collaborator, and you enjoy interacting with peers to drive things forward.
• Ideally experienced with various technologies, with a minimum requirement of experience in building modern web applications in the cloud.
• Understanding of cloud technology—ranging from management to application development. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Understanding how to plan integrations in a way that keeps architects and teams engaged and satisfied. Experience with Azure as an integration platform, and REST or GraphQL is a plus.
• Possessing solid experience in IT infrastructure, system integration, middleware platforms, API management, and related technologies. You also excel at explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experienced with at least 3 years of working in a similar role.
• A bachelor's or master's degree holder in computer science, business administration, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written, and preferably a local language.
