About the role

Fortum’s Wind and Solar organisation is responsible for the development of our wind and solar business. Our aim is to grow especially in our home market in the Nordics where the conditions for wind power are excellent, and the power demand is expected to grow significantly. Wind and solar power play a crucial role in the decarbonisation of our societies.

In this role, you will join the Strategy and Commercialisation team. The team is responsible for the development of our business areas strategy, financial analysis, supporting customer cases, partnering, project pipeline reporting, competitive analysis, technology as well as cost and market outlooks. Your prime responsibility is to support us with market research relevant to our business. The scope of the market research will be discussed in the interview.

This position’s location is Stockholm. We are looking for a summer trainee for the period 2.6.2025 until 29.8.2025.

• You are pursuing a master’s program in energy studies.
• You have strong research and analytical skills and can transform complex information into an easy-to-understand format.
• You are fluent in English and Swedish, as both languages are needed in the role.
• You are proficient in MS Office programs.
