System Designer

Role Information

We are looking for an experienced system designer with good knowledge of automotive projects and preferably with electrical/electronic development. As we have both hardware and software content in all projects it´s important with knowledge in both areas. As a system designer, you will lead the design and development of complex systems, from concept to finished product by developing and fulfilling requirements and ensuring they are implemented with quality. The work will be carried out either internally with us or at one of our clients.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of systems and architectures for automotive applications.
• Experience in creating and implementing system requirement specifications, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
• Experience in automotive-related standards and methods, such as AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
• Coding experience in languages such as C/C++, Python, or other relevant languages for automotive applications.
• Working with vehicle systems such as engine control, safety systems, infotainment, or control systems.
• Familiar with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience in product design within the automotive industry with coordination of cross functional teams.
• Experience in roles such as System Engineer, component owner, Node owner ideally within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Good management skills.
