System Engineer with Expertise in Automotive

Role Information

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer with good knowledge of automotive projects. In this role, you will work with advanced system requirements management and functional development to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions for the automotive industry. You will be involved in various stages of the development process, from early concept to production-ready systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all requirements are met. This also includes testing functions against requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in system requirements management or functional development for automotive applications.
• Good knowledge and practical experience with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis).
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, or FlexRay.
• A valid B driver's license is required for this position.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

We would be particularly interested if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• At least 2 years of automotive experience in product design (OEM or supplier)
• Good technical project management skills, especially within the automotive industry
• Familiarity with tools such as SystemWeaver, CarWeaver, Elektra, or TeamCenter.
• Experience with Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262)
• Competence in cybersecurity (meritorious)
• Experience with Autosar architecture for software development
