About the role
LIAC is our new Core administration solution, built on the Lumera Core system. As our System Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Managing updates and releases: Ensure smooth deployment of new releases and patches to keep systems updated, secure, and minimize disruptions.
• Issue resolution: Respond promptly to troubleshoot and restore operations during system issues or outages.
• Backup and recovery: Maintain reliable backups and develop comprehensive recovery plans to safeguard business continuity.
• Environment setup: Establish and maintain dedicated Lumera test environments for seamless testing and quality assurance.
• System integrity: Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of Lumera databases and applications.
• System optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, and ensure synchronization of Lumera systems with broader IT infrastructure.
• Documentation and compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
• 1-5 years of experience as a System Manager, Database Administrator, or in a similar role focused on database and application management.
• Experience with Tomcat for Windows is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is beneficial but not required.
• Familiarity with database management systems, application monitoring tools, backup and recovery routines, and patch and release management is valuable.
• Understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR or ISO27001 is considered a bonus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving, combined with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Post-secondary education in the field of IT, Engineering or equivalent
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
