About the role:
 
The payment domain is undergoing major changes, driven by emerging technologies and global standards such as ISO 20022. This creates an opportunity to transform customer experiences across our services. Within our area, we are responsible for delivering modern, secure payment platform for corporate, private, and internal users.
 
As a Technology Team Manager, you will lead a skilled, cross-functional team dedicated to developing and maintaining payment and reporting applications. You will foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical innovation. Taking full IT delivery responsibility for the applications within your team’s scope, you will ensure adherence to development and maintenance best practices.
 
You will join the Payment Management Team, working closely with your peers to drive delivery efficiency, enhance processes, and manage capacity and talent across teams. You will also collaborate with business stakeholders and program management to deliver customer value with agility and quality.

Your tasks include:

  • To lead, develop and maintain a high performing team. You do that by defining and setting targets, building confidence, empowering and supporting the team and its team members daily.
  • You take an active part in our management team and key initiatives, driving the agenda on both operational, tactical and strategic level.
  • You coach, drive change, and improve the way of working in the team and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement to ensure efficient ways of working, high quality releases and well tested solutions.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams
  • A solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to anticipating challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Flexibility and the ability to navigate a dynamic, matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
