Technical Sales Engineer


We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer as we expand into Finland. Torell Pump is a market leader in flow technology in Sweden and Norway, and we are now establishing a local office in Finland. This will be the first position based at the new office. You will be part of an entrepreneurial company with 20 dedicated colleagues, working closely together in a friendly, family-like atmosphere. As part of Torell Pump, you will also play a key role in our continued entrepreneurial culture.

Torell Pump is a specialist company in flow technology, offering a comprehensive range of pumps and water treatment equipment for various industrial and municipal applications. We are committed to helping our customers with safe and sustainable solutions to improve their products and streamline production processes. Since our founding in 1962, we have grown to become one of the leading suppliers in the Swedish and Norwegian markets. The company is experiencing positive growth and currently has a turnover of 115 million SEK. Torell Pump has been part of the Indutrade Group, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, since 2011. The group has a decentralized structure and consists of over 200 companies.


We are seeking someone who enjoys working independently and wants to help shape and lead this exciting expansion in Finland!

You will be responsible for developing the company’s portfolio throughout Finland and achieving growth through both existing and new customers. You will, in cooperation with the Stockholm office, manage the entire sales process, from customer acquisition to sales, quotations, projects, and delivery. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our journey in Finland, with flexibility to work from home, from a modern co-working space or from an office of our sister company in Finland. Ideally, you are based in the Helsinki or Turku region, as most of our current and potential customers are located there, but we are open to other locations. The position involves travel and will include overnight stays (to customers, for internal meetings and to suppliers).

Responsibilities

• Building up the business in Finland

• Responsible for executing our sales processes from A to Z, targeting both new and existing customers

• Maintaining a high level of service

• Following our environmental and quality guidelines

• Keeping up to date and knowledgeable about our products and services

• Understanding customer needs and their applications

• Making decisions on daily matters within the scope of sales activities


Qualifications

• Experience in technical B2B sales

• Knowledge of the industry or municipality business, and applications related pumps or other flow related products

• Technical education or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways

• Driver’s license

• Language skills: native or fluent Finnish, very good English skills. Knowledge in Swedish and/or German is an advantage, but not required
