About the role
Lumera is built on Java while the majority of our in-house systems are developed in C#. As our Automation Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing automated tests: Create and maintain automated tests to validate Lumera’s functionality, performance, and integration with other systems.
- Implementing test frameworks: Select and integrate appropriate test frameworks and tools to support efficient automated testing. Potential frameworks include JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, or other relevant tools based on the chosen language.
- Collaborating across teams: Work closely with other developers and stakeholders to identify testing requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Analyzing test results: Investigate and document test outcomes, identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- You have proven experience in software development, with a strong foundation in Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest) and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working with Lumera or similar insurance administration systems is a plus.
