Trade Finance Client Services, within SEB and the division Large Corporate & Financial Institutions, is looking for an experienced and skilled Client Service Manager.
About the role:
Together with your colleagues in our Trade Finance Client Services unit, you are responsible for adding value to our clients by delivering excellent daily service to our large corporates and mid-sized corporate clients, who operate globally. You are also the appointed main contact for specific clients.
By using your trade finance skills and acquiring a strong understanding of the clients’ business needs, you will in a structured way manage the execution of the clients’ transactions smoothly and with attention to detail. You will handle various trade finance instruments, mainly focusing on documentary credits, but also documentary collections.
You are responsible for providing competent transactional advice and solutions to questions and issues occurring, e.g. transaction structuring, drafting, discrepancies, financing, risk, compliance, sanction clauses among others.
Secure and build positive relationships with the relevant client contacts is of essence. Physical and digital client meetings and proactive interaction. You initiate, drive and lead with a high engagement solely or in close collaboration with your colleagues in the client team.
You will be part of an ambitious team in Gothenburg as well as in our global Trade Finance community and participate actively in our transformation journey to fit the future requirement and needs of our clients also securing a future digitized offering.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Trade Finance and Documentary Credits.
· Experience in servicing and building positive relations with professional and advanced corporate clients is a pre-requisite.
· Strong commitment, personal drive and ownership taking, together with a positive and proactive can-do attitude to deliver and excellent client experience, are key characteristics expected from you.
· Effective collaboration and communication skills are crucial in your contribution to an open, transparent, and caring culture in your direct team, cross-teams, and countries.
· You value to work and be active in a team, as well as taking decisions independently and you have a high capacity to prioritise the daily work in a structured manner.
· You are curious and take responsibility for your continuous personal and professional development to excel in the role and for further growth.
· You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English and have a relevant academic background.
