MBA Carl Silfvén Scholarship

The SSE MBA Executive Format is for business leaders who want to drive success in a global context and be inspiring leaders. The program has a strong focus on sustainability, is given in English on three continents, and you earn an MBA degree as well as three additional certificates from international courses.

The scholarship will be awarded 2-3 persons who can promote Sweden, and be good ambassadors for Sweden. Requirements are a Bachelor's degree in a non-business subject, at least five years relevant work experience, and a proven high level of English proficiency. The scholarship shall promote the competitiveness of Swedish-based business in an international market.

This scholarship is given by the Carl Silfvén Foundation, which is established through the will of Carl Silfvén in 1914. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee of SEK 743,750 (SEK 595,000 + VAT), for the SSE MBA Executive Format, as well as travelling costs up to SEK 150,000 (incl. of VAT) and costs for accommodation up to SEK 150,000 (incl. of VAT).

One to two scholarships are available. Each scholarship covers fully the tuition fees for the MSc program, plus living expenses for SEK 100,000 a year, plus travelling expenses for SEK 20,000.

• have a significant working experience in a Swedish company in Sweden or abroad and choose to leave the current working position to become a student at the school;
  
• must have a long-term goal of contributing to the Swedish business society;
  
  
• not have any previous higher education in Business or Economics; 
  
• have achieved good merits both in school and on the practical level.
