he Board of Insamlingsstiftelsen till Per Hillers Minne (The Foundation in Memory of Per Hiller) has established a new scholarship to reward outstanding study achievements of students in the Master program in Accounting, Valuation and Financial Management (MAVFM) and the Master program in Finance (MFIN).
Up to five scholarships of SEK 50,000 each will be awarded to outstanding students in each of the two master programs. The scholarships are to be received in period 4 in the Spring semester of the first year of study. Based on recommendations by the Program Directors of MAVFM and MFIN, students who are nominated will be appointed by the SSE Student Scholarship Taskforce. The Master students do not have to apply for the award, but all eligible students will be considered by the Program Directors of MAVFM and MFIN.
To encourage and reward outstanding students who participate in an engaged way in the courses offered in the MAVFM and MFIN programs at Stockholm School of Economics. The awards will be based on the students’ study achievements in periods 1 to 3 in the first year of the respective Master program. Hence, the awards will enable ambitious and hard-working students to get a prestigious reward and acknowledgement for their study performance.
Students who receive the Per Hiller Outstanding Master Student Award have achieved outstanding study results in periods 1 to 3 during their first year in the MAVFM or MFIN programs at SSE.
The assessment of study results is based on the compulsory and voluntary courses offered in the MAVFM respective MFIN program, having a clear connection to the subject area of Financial Economics (in a broad sense). Also, nominated students will be recognized for their active participation and collaborative teamwork with fellow students in the program activities being offered in the respective Master program.
The first cohort being eligible for the Per Hiller Outstanding Master Student Award is the Master students registered in the MAVFM and MFIN programs in the Fall semester.

Master students receiving the Per Hiller Outstanding Master Student Award will be informed about this by the end of May in period 4 of their first year of study in the MAVFM and MFIN programs.
