Sylvia and Jonas Prising want to contribute to diversifying SSE's student population and provide opportunities for students that might be the first in their family to attend university. Therefore, they are supporting one Swedish female Bachelor student with a scholarship of 10 000 SEK per month for three years. The purpose is to cover living expenses for three years conditional upon satisfactory performance as determined by SSE.The first scholarship recipient will begin her studies in the Autumn of 2024 and will graduate in 2027. During the study period, the student must be enrolled full-time. If the student takes a study break, the scholarship is paused until the student is enrolled again. If the break is longer than one year, the right to the scholarship expires.
The scholarship candidates shall be considered by SSE to have the potential to perform well in their respective educational program. In order to qualify for the scholarship, which will be awarded on a competitive basis and is subject to successful admission to SSE, the student must be female and also comply with one or more of the following criteria:1. Have Swedish citizenship2. Have at least one parent born outside of Sweden3. Be the first in her immediate family to attend university
Students admitted to one of SSE's BSc programs can apply from July 12 to August 23, 2024 through the form on this page. The reviewing of candidates and the final selection will be done during the first half of August.
